Gary Moore, born April 4, 1952 in Belfast, Northern Ireland, was a guitarist and singer whose career was notable for his virtuosity and his ability to move between various musical genres, from rock and blues to jazz.
Moore began playing guitar at a young age and joined his first band, Skid Row, in his teens. His exceptional skill allowed him to collaborate with iconic figures such as Phil Lynott in Thin Lizzy.
