Paul Stanley, born Stanley Bert Eisen on January 20, 1952 in Queens, New York, is a musician, singer and songwriter best known for being one of the founding members and rhythm guitarist of the legendary rock band Kiss.
Stanley became interested in music from a young age, influenced by rock bands and artists such as The Beatles and Led Zeppelin. In 1973, together with Gene Simmons, he co-founded Kiss, a band that stood out for its theatrical style and live performances full of pyrotechnics and iconic makeup. As “Starchild”, Stanley became the band’s charismatic frontman, contributing significantly to Kiss’ success with his powerful voice and songwriting skills. Among Kiss’ greatest hits were songs such as “Rock and Roll All Nite,” “Detroit Rock City” and “I Was Made for Lovin’ You,” many of which were co-written by Stanley.
In addition to his work with Kiss, Stanley has released solo albums and performed in theater productions, demonstrating his versatility as an artist.
